Supporting the under-served

You can support my efforts in helping the communities I visit in the following ways:

Take Language Classes (English, Kannada, Hindi, or Spanish)
By enrolling in my language classes, you not only enhance your skills but also contribute to the communities I work with. I teach in multiple languages, including English, Kannada, Hindi, and Spanish.

“Hire Me for Website Development, Translation, and Writing Services”

Looking for a skilled professional to create an eye-catching, impactful website? I specialize in website development, high-quality translations, and engaging content writing. Whether you need a well-designed website, accurate translations, or compelling articles on science and travel, I can deliver top-notch results.

Buy Local Handicrafts and Support Artisans
As I travel by bicycle, my space is limited, but I try to purchase lighter local handicrafts wherever I go. For example, in Assam, I’ve met many women who weave and knit their clothes while managing daily chores like farming, cooking, and raising families. Purchasing their handmade items is a great way to support their craft and livelihood. I can try to connect you to these local weavers.

Book Local Tours and Experiences
I can recommend local accommodations and tour guides for safaris, treks, or birdwatching adventures. Many of these now friends own homestays or boutique hotels. By staying with them, you’ll experience the unique and entrepreneurial spirit of these young locals who have decided to stay in their communities and start their own businesses. These small businesses typically have a low environmental impact, in line with my lifestyle. Though many people in these areas are focused on survival, they are incredibly mindful of their environmental footprint and actively work to minimize it. Many of them collaborate with local, state, and national NGOs to make a positive impact.

Your Support Goes Directly to the Locals
When you support these businesses, your money goes directly to the local people and their communities. I want to clarify that I am NOT seeking any monetary benefits from this initiative.

Reach Out for More Information
If you’d like more information about local entrepreneurs, NGOs, schools, or any of the individuals or organizations I work with, feel free to contact me. I’m happy to share more details and help connect you.
